The second Furniture Showroom took
place in an atmosphere of moderate
optimism, thanks to the sales figures
recorded by the exhibiting companies and
to the many contacts that were estab-
lished between firms, distributors and
retailers.
With 135 companies represented,
the furniture show was visited by store
78%
of exhibitors
satisfied
owners, distributors , interior designers
and purchasing managers interested in
discovering the latest developments in
modern and classical, rustic and colonial
furniture, as well as lighting and decora-
tive products.
According to the survey conducted
by the organisers, more than 75% of the
exhibitors found new customers, whilst
78% stated their intention of taking part in
the next edition of the Barcelona Furniture
Showroom.
The commercial exhibition also in-
cluded the Ines Table, a multi-purpose,
multi-concept product designed by the
architect Enric Miralles. Representing
Catalan design, the table was presented
by the Carpenters’ Guild.
