Also, the promotion of affordable year-round boat
rentals and new formulas to allow boat owners to
rent their boats during certain seasons to cover
maintenance costs.
Many recreational activities
In addition to the commercial exhibit, the event
also hosted a large program of activities in order
to promote interest about nautical activities. Once
again, the Funch Beach Area hosted training
sessions where visitors could learn the basics of
yachting, kayaking, canoeing, paddle surfing or
even virtually flying over the sea with a new aquatic
gadget called Flyboard.
One of the most spectacular activities was the
Boat Parade, night boat parade which attracted
hundreds of people. On the first event, more
than 300 sail and motor boats, between 11
and 25 metres long, presented the latest
trends in design, electronics, motors and safety
from national and international brands. The
boats sailed at a speed of 3 knots in a light and
sound show.
Likewise, for the third consecutive year, the Village
at Moll d’Espanya became a meeting point for
representatives from different areas of economy,
society and sports.

time, a change of premises that allowed the show
to reach a new record number of visitors.
New dads and moms could approach the universe
of new-borns and share their experiences with more
practiced families. They also got familiar with the
latest trends in maternity and childcare through the
leading brands of the sector.
Baby bottles, pacifiers and diapers were displayed,
as well as all the necessary products for childcare:
food, high chairs, bath tubs, carriages, strollers,
gyms for pregnant women and babies, services
of umbilical cord blood stem cell collection and
storage, and cars featuring all kinds of appliances
for travelling with children.

belongings with a photograph, and a natal chart
writing service for new-borns, among others.
