          Sonimagfoto&Multimedia was jointly held with
        
        
          graphispag.digital to show how photographs can
        
        
          live outside screens, mobile devices, the cloud or
        
        
          hard drives thanks to digital printing.
        
        
          Despite the drop in sales of cameras due
        
        
          to the economic crisis and the competition
        
        
          of smartphones, the market of photographic
        
        
          products is growing by changing its way of printing
        
        
          photographs, from the traditional paper copies to
        
        
          images on objects, digital photo books and the
        
        
          customization of spaces and surfaces.
        
        
          Leading brands like Canon, Nikon y Fujifilm,
        
        
          among others, presented capture equipment, and
        
        
          other exhibitors included suppliers of photographic
        
        
          software, material, accessories and consumables,
        
        
          kiosks, digital albums, and services, as well as
        
        
          suppliers of digital printing equipment, support
        
        
          and material, brought by graphispag.digital.
        
        
          Both shows organized the Image&Print World
        
        
          International Congress, with business proposals for
        
        
          the sector of graphic and visual communications.
        
        
          The activities included a dozen unprecedented
        
        
          exhibitions of classic and contemporary
        
        
          photographers like Eugeni Forcano, Colita, Kike
        
        
          del Olmo, Carles Virgili, Hugo Rodríguez, Albert
        
        
          Masó, Sergi Tello, among others. Another highlight
        
        
          was a photowalk through Montjuïc that gathered
        
        
          more than 150 participants; conferences and
        
        
          round tables; photographic sets where to learn
        
        
          techniques from professional photographers; or
        
        
          the 12 theoretical and practical sessions of the
        
        
          Adobe Digital Classroom about the latest software
        
        
          for image processing and editing.
        
        
          Young talent was recognized by the
        
        
          Sonimagfoto Scholarship, to undertake
        
        
          Postgraduate studies in Photojournalism at
        
        
          Barcelona’s Autonomous University (UAB), which
        
        
          went to the half Equatorian half Israeli Mijail
        
        
          Leonardo Vallejo for a photographic report about
        
        
          marginalized youngster in Saint Petersburg.
