International Pet Professional Fair

This show, supported by the Spanish Association
of Pet Products Distributors (AEDPAC), is
exclusively oriented to pet industry professionals
and it is one of the most relevant in southern
Europe, featuring major multinational companies
of the sector. The number of exhibitors grew a
30% in relation to the previous event.
Indeed, Iberzoo stands out for its constant
evolution and adaptation to business requirements,
its design and format and the show’s ability to
present the various products and services. It is an
essential date for all pet shops, where it is possible
to reach the most prestigious companies in the
market, along with the latest industry developments
and products of greatest demand. The sectors
represented include food, accessories, health,
aquarium, terrarium, accessories, equipment,
hygiene and fashion, along with specialised media
and service companies.
The Pet Fair presented an outstanding
programme, including events devoted to matters
of special relevance for the sector, like the
maintenance of aquariums and pet facilities,
food for small rodents, changes in the legislation
regarding veterinary medicines, among many
others. A key feature was the World Grooming
Championship, and another great attraction was
the presence of the renowned German landscaper
Oliver Knott, who designed and built an aquarium
on the premises.
The general assembly of AEDPAC was held,
during which were presented the results of
the study about the economic situation of the
sector. The Spanish Association of Pet Products
Distributors was founded in 1996, and represents
manufacturers, distributors and wholesalers
of pet products and pet accessories.
